Our History
Founded in 2024, Living Tower Food bank set out with the mission of providing nutritious food to our community. During the first year we fed more than 12,000 people, organized and/or participated in 13 events, resourced dozens of community organizations with food, hygiene products and other essential items, developed weekly workshops for
Founded in 2024, Living Tower Food bank set out with the mission of providing nutritious food to our community. During the first year we fed more than 12,000 people, organized and/or participated in 13 events, resourced dozens of community organizations with food, hygiene products and other essential items, developed weekly workshops for Developmentally Disabled individuals, started backpack ministries for the homeless, domestic violence advocacy groups and new and expectant parents; became a resource for both Denver and Aurora Community Hub programs and their families and grew community relationships throughout the Denver metro area.
In our second year we started a second food bank in Bennett and resourced 100% of the food for their community while training and developing their volunteers. We partnered with the Salvation Army and provided 200 turkeys with all the fixings for that community for Thanksgiving as well as 375 meals for our Aurora community.
We have a symbiotic business model in which we ”help others who help others.”
We are 100% volunteer founded and driven and are committed to meeting the needs of our community as they continue to grow.

Emergency assistance on a case by case basis. Backpack ministries for the homeless, new parents and others in need. Community programs and resources for disabled veterans, developmentally disabled individuals, those in sober living and/or halfway houses. TEFAP (The Emergency Food Assistance Program) Available 2X monthly at our location. (https://www.fns.usda)

Volunteer Your Time
*The Food Bank is open to the community on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month. If you are interested in volunteering, please call/text Sheila at 720-256-0825.
*Volunteer Opportunities: Help unload Trucks, Stock Shelves, Build Boxes for the 1st & 3rd Saturday of the month, Help build backpacks for the homeless, go-bags for individuals fleeing domestic violence situations and care kits for new and expectant parents.
*Additional volunteer opportunities are available throughout each week as we continue to grow in an effort to serve our neighbors and community.
